Starting out hiking can be a daunting affair, there is a huge variety of kit available to suit all budgets, experience levels and conditions. Even once you have everything, you need to have a good think about what you are going to need for the day or trip. From a warm summer stroll to a challenging winter hike it's important that you have the right equipment to keep you warm, dry and safe.
