Walk Leaders
Our club walks are always organised and lead by one of our leadership team of experienced walkers.
As part of our effort to enhance the experience of members and particularly our walk organisers, we use funds from our membership fee to arrange subsidised local training courses for them on navigation skills, leadership skills, the silver NNAS award; winter skills; and first aid.
High Level Walk Leaders
Our High Level walk leaders take out groups to do Grade A and B walks. They are some of our most experienced walk leaders and are trained and equipped to lead walks safely.
Low Level Walk Leaders
Our Low Level walk leaders primarily take out groups to do Grade B and C walks. They are similarly trained, equipped and experienced walk leaders. Walks will generally take place in all weather conditions but will be shorter and safer routes.
